Project Description
The new Fircrest Residential Habilitation Center Campus will be built on the Fircrest campus, a 90-acre campus that currently provides support to approximately 200 people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Fircrest Campus is in Shoreline, just north of Seattle, and has excellent access to the major medical and educational facilities that support the individuals who reside at Fircrest. Its location also allows the residents the opportunity to participate in many of the sporting, cultural and outdoor events held in the Seattle area.
The $206.8 million project replaces six aging buildings with a state-of-the-art nursing facility. The new three-story, 125,000 square foot facility will be built to LEED Silver or better and is anticipated to be licensed for 120 beds. The project also features a new laundry facility designed to meet the demands of the entire campus and 117 surface parking spaces.
The project reached financial close in November of 2024 and is currently under construction. The privately issued 63-20 Bonds used to finance the project were rated AA by S&P Global.
