The Gateway at Alhambra is a 3-story office building developed through a Public-Private Partnership to house the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission (LACDC). The facility was financed using tax-exempt 63-20 bonds and was designed and constructed by a private development team. The Gateway at Alhambra allowed the LACDC to consolidate its staff into one building, eliminating the need for costly leased office space and increasing efficiency of operations. The success of the Gateway at Alhambra project has led Los Angeles County to pursue other projects using the same tax-exempt financing structure and private development expertise.

PFG staff led this project while employed at National Development Council (NDC), where they created the Special Purpose Entity that issued bonds and oversaw all project related activities. In 2015, NDC’s Public Facilities development arm left NDC to form PFG. NDC currently maintains ownership of the project on behalf of Los Angeles County.
